The students at of the West Coast Youth Orchestra (WCYO) recently shone in various examinations.
Student Nelandi Boshoff achieved an A symbol in music as a subject in the 2019 National Senior Certificate examinations.
Lené Stuart and Christelle Rheeder achieved a B symbol for music. The WCYO team congratulates the 2019 matric music students from Hopefield High School and Curro Langebaan Independent School.
Trinity Theory of Music Exams
West Coast Music Academy (WCMA) students recently achieved excellent results in the Trinity Theory of Music exams during last November. Three distinctions and two merits were obtained.
Students who achieved distinction were Aiden Fransman, Damon de Foglio and Tyla Maltby. Students who achieved merit are Cé-Jay Claassen, Christelle Rheeder.
Unisa Theory of Music Exams
WCMA students achieved superb results in the Unisa Theory of Music exams in October 2019. Four students achieved Roll of Honour and seven Distinction. Roll of Honour students are Armand Potgieter, Corné Meintjes, Annika Gericke and Jennafer Tapuch. Liam Opperman, Deidré Loubser, Chasmin-Lee Topass, Stevie Phillips, Lindi Blomerus and Georgia Pontello. Caitlin Links achieved Distinction.
