October brides can now enter the Weslander Weskus Mall annual bridal competition.
The first of the 2016-’17 finalists is Lize-Mari Rhoode from Dwarskerbos for September.
There are great prizes up for grabs such as accommodation for a second honeymoon, cash prizes, gift packs and a special surprise or two.
Brides wishing to participate in the fifth Weslander and Weskus Mall Bride of the year competition must be older than 18 years, live in the newspaper’s distribution area, or should have lived there until her wedding day.
Proof of address may be requested by Weslander.
Ladies who got hitched in October can now enter and have until Friday 25 November to submit their entries.
Each month’s finalist is chosen by an independent panel of judges who consider the bride’s dress, over all look as well as personality from the photographs she has submitted.
Along with the entry form each hopeful bride must submit a head-and-shoulders photo of herself on her wedding day, as well as a full-length picture to show off her dress.
Each finalist will be announced in the newspaper the week after entries have closed. For entry forms or any enquiries call Yaël Malgas or Madelie Tolken on 022 713 1251.
