The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) Western Cape will conduct three by-elections scheduled to take place on Wednesday 20 November.
One of the elections will take place in Matzikama, Ward 6.
Candidate nominations are open and must be submitted by Monday 28 October at 17:00.
Independent candidates and parties are reminded to comply with the regulations of the Municipal Electoral Act as it relates to candidate nomination.
Parties and independents who seek information or assistance can also visit the local office before the closing date.
