The Western Cape Economic Development Partnership (EDP) will be hosting two open days for small, medium and micro-enterprises (SMMEs) from the West Coast, on behalf of the West Coast Business Development Centre (WCBDC).
“These open days are part of a larger strategy to revitalise the WCBDC, in partnership between the Saldanha Bay Municipality (SBM), the Saldanha Bay Industrial Development Zone (SBIDZ) and the EDP. They are specifically intended to make the centre more relevant to its stakeholders,” explains interim centre manager at the WCBDC, Lynn Maggott.
This is therefore a call for all SMME’s who are based in the West Coast, to attend one of the open days to help determine what SMME needs and challenges in the area are, and to understand how the WCBDC can assist in growing and sustaining these businesses.
SMMEs are welcome to attend any of the sessions in any of the towns.
Given the interactive nature of these open days, participants can join the discussions at any time during these time slots, and do not need to attend for the full duration of the sessions.
The open days will take place as detailed below.
