The Saldanha Veterans Soccer team recently played matches at a charity event held in Wynberg, Cape Town, and returned as champs.
Despite the challenges faced, the team reigned victorious and won four of the five group stage games.
In the semi-final match they went head-to-head against Saps Legends and won on penalties.
In the final match they played against Cape Town City Law Enforcement Legends and won on penalties as well, walking away with the trophy.
Player Amos Henge received two individual awards. He was chosen as Player of the Tournament and as the Joint Goalscorer with seven goals.
