To choose this year’s Weslander Fish and Chips King for a restaurant and a takeaway, readers need to help us compile a shortlist.

Nominate your favourite restaurant or takeaway in the Saldanha Bay or Berg River municipal area, where you like to buy your fish and chips, like this:

1. Go to Weslander’s Facebook page.
2. Follow the page.
3. Like the post about the Fish and Chips Competition.
4. Click here.
5. Fill out the Shoutout form. Next to the name of the place you are nominating, you must indicate whether it is a restaurant (“R”) or a takeaway (“TA”).

Please explain why you are nominating this specific location. You can even send in a photo of yourself with your fish and chips meal at the place.

The shortlist will be announced on Thursday, 20 November.

Restaurants and takeaways that make the shortlist and are willing to give four vouchers to the judges will then be eligible for the Fish and Chip King trophy in the Restaurant or Takeaway category.
