The second Mr and Miss Paternoster for 2024 hosted by the Good Heart Foundation took place on Saturday 26 October.
It was a evening of elegance and style as 32 youngsters strutted their stuff on the runway.
Gaynor Pieters, founder of Good Heart Foundation said the event was a resounding success with 120 people in attendance showing their support.
“The enthusiasm and involvement of the kids really highlighted the importance of this initiative for The Good Heart Foundation,” she said. “Mr and Miss Paternoster is our inaugural project that started in 2023, which is a wonderful way to empower young people to discover their identities and recognize their worth. As founders, me and my husband Netaneel (co-founder), are committed to give back and supporting the youth in our community. Starting in Paternoster, where Netaneel has deep roots, was a meaningful choice.”
According to Pieters it is the engagement with the local youth that revealed their need for self-love and self-worth, which inspired their modelling show. “This approach not only showcases their outer beauty but also fosters personal growth and inner confidence. My passion for modeling aligns perfectly with the mission of The Good Heart Foundation, which hopefully will make a real impact in lives of our youth.”
