Langebaan’s very own Miss West Coast aims to make a difference in her community.
Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi (18), currently in matric at Hopefield High School, was crowned Miss West Coast Langebaan on Saturday 25 August.
As part of the role and responsibilities associated with the title, she recently took part in charity work in her community.
“I believe that a crown and a sash give you a platform to change the circumstances of others and to uplift the community,” Ntandoyenkosi said.
On Thursday 6 September she visited Feed the Need in Langebaan, the organisation fed up to 33 elderly and 180 children with a little help from Ntandoyenkosi and her friends.
“We were also joined by some of Pick n Pay Langebaan’s staff, which sponsored delicious food for the children,” the beauty queen said.
She says it was a privilege to witness the tender care the volunteers of Feed the Need bestow on every child they serve.
“I look forward to doing more charity work to uplift my community,” Ntandoyenkosi said.
