Walk a mile in a man’s shoes and you might get an idea of his struggles but men of the Saldanha Bay Municipality choose to walk down the road in a woman’s heels to shed light on a worthy cause.
As part of their annual campaign to raise awareness during the 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Campaign officials and workers sported high heels and women’s clothes while walking down Vredenburg’s Main Road on Thursday.
The municipality thanks all the men from the various towns who marched in the “successful campaign” for 16 Days of Activism Against Violence.
