Three Strandlopers Athletics Club runners took part in the 47th South African Masters Championships in Oudtshoorn between Thursday 1 and Saturday 3 May.
They did exceptionally well and represented the West Coast at their best.

200 m: 22, 62 seconds

400 m 50,01 seconds (gold SA Champion and his personal best)
Glenn Bewee (50 to 54 SA Champion:
5 000 m walk: 31 minutes and 20 seconds (gold)
Clive Cupido:
200 m: 28,24 seconds (4th)
400 m: 59,65 seconds (bronze)
800 m: 2 min and 23,18 seconds (4th)
5 000 m walk: 30 minutes and 16 seconds (silver)
