This week is your last chance to register your little one for a new school for 2020.
School enrolments close on Friday 15 March and the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) is urging parents and guardians to make sure their children are placed for next year.
Anyone looking to enrol children for the next school year can apply online or go to the school of their choice
“Firstly, parents must enrol at the school or on the WCED website (https://admissions.westerncape.gov.za/admissions/login) – we are not aware of any official or authorised enrolment station at the company named on a certain notice/advert circulating at the moment.
“Secondly, parents cannot be charged a fee to enrol their child at a school,” the department explained.
Parents who do not have access to digital resources to apply online, even if it is at one of our pilot schools, may request a paper-based application form instead.”
