Talented learners from Keys to Heaven Music School recently took part in Show Your Talent South Africa, and their performances have earned them a spot in Talent America in New York.
Music teacher Grant Clemitson said each learner showcased their passion, dedication and the amazing musical gifts that God has blessed them with.
“Their hard work and faith have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of their outstanding performances. This is just the beginning of a beautiful journey. May they continue to inspire others and use their talents to make the world a more musical place.”
Overall winners include Grand Instrumentalist (Piano Duet): Chase Schonken and Christiaan Clemitson; Grand Variety Act: Minke Oosthuizen; Grand Instrumental Group: Jesse Fryer; Jaidon Bekker, Oelof Noble, Theo Noble, Mischke Jansen, Lilly van der Byl and Willem van der Byl; and Grand Instrumental Solo: Chase Schonken (piano).
Item winners are Charl Colyn (guitar), Chase Schonken (piano), Carlè Clemitson (recorder), the Keys to Heaven Band consisting of Jesse Fryer, Jaidon Bekker, Oelof Noble, Theo Noble, Mischke Jansen, Lilly van der Byl and Willem van der Byl.
Vocal item winners are Willem van der Byl, Mia Fourie (Sacred) and Mia Fourie (Traditional).
Division winners are Minke Oosthuizen, Chase Schonken (piano), Chase Schonken and Christiaan Clemitson (piano duet), Oelof Noble, Mia Fourie and the Keys to Heaven Band.
