The Hopefield Business Forum (HBF) was officially launched at the Plaasmol Farm Stall on Friday 3 May.

The internationally acclaimed entrepreneurial couple, Landi and Mike Handcock, inspired the delegates with their presentation.

To add to the informative event, various business support organisations, such as Impacted Coaching, Small Enterprise Development Agency, West Coast Business Development Centre and the Small Enterprise Financing Agency, also exhibited their services at the event and availed themselves to answer any questions the delegates may have had.

Luther Diedericks of SA Business Hub, who convened the event, announced the names of the Interim Management Committee/Advisory Board that will work with him to develop the HBF.

Diedericks said the first annual general meeting for members will be held in due course. The Interim Management Committee/Advisory Board members are: Melt Smit from Spar, Wilmari Turner from Turnerland, Cheryl Cupido from Twin Palms, Andries Botha from Refcon, Joy Davison, owner of multiple businesses, and Lluwellyn Diedericks representing the The Big Idea. Delegates enjoyed the networking session and speaking to presenters and exhibitors.
