Young top dancers from the Western Cape, Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal all travelled to the West Coast this school holiday to showcase their skills as part of the DanceSport School League stet competition.

The three-day hip-hop and street dance competition was held at the Protea Hotel by Marriott Saldanha Bay.

During the first day the dancers competed individually.

On Saturday participants performed in pairs and on Sunday, in the grand finale, the three provincial teams competed in various age groups.

KwaZulu-Natal was crowned overall champion of the competition with Gauteng and the Western Cape in second and third place respectively.

According to the organisers they hope to get more West Coast dancers in workshops and competitions.
