Wanting to give children the opportunity to see and experience more outside their town is what Natasha Jantjies has set out to achieve.
The founder of Inspiration, a non-profit organisation in Langebaan, plans to take 22 children on a trip to Cape Town on Wednesday 18 December, but needs a little financial help.
Funding will help with transport, food and other necessities needed for the outing. This is not the first time Jantjies has embarked on such a journey with the children of Inspiration and aims to do a trip in December every year.
“Many of our children are caught just by their surroundings,” she pointed out. “During these trips the children gain life skills, learn a few lessons and are motivated.” Jantjies has the vision of taking the children to Kirstenbosch and Constantia, giving the children a real Cape Town experience.
“At Inspiration we aim to create a world where every child, family and community is connected, productive and thriving.” said Jantjies. “We aim to improve the future of the disadvantaged youth of the West Coast with dreams and hope.”
She added the children are very excited and she wants to make it a memorable day for them. Should you wish to help financially contact Jantjies on 076 582 5959.
