Written and created by Roger Bean, the Off-Broadway smash hit The Marvelous Wonderettes will open at Die Koelkamers on Saturday 4 May.
The audience will be transported to the 1958 Springfield High School prom, where they will meet the Wonderettes: Cindy Lou, Missy, Suzy and Betty Jean, four girls with dreams as big as their crinoline skirts.
After a marvellous Cape Town run, the Wonderettes are ready to thrill their Paternoster audience with classic hits from the 50’s and 60’s that we all love. Hits such as “Lollipop”, “Stupid Cupid”, “Dream Lover”, “Respect”, “You don’t own me” and so much more. You have never had this much fun at prom, and you never will forget this must-take trip down memory lane.
The show will start at 17:00 and tickets are between R138 and R253.
