West Coast TVET College and the Youth Employment Service (Yes) have formalised a partnership through signing a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday 10 April, marking a significant milestone in collaborative efforts to enhance youth-employment opportunities.
Distinguished representatives from West Coast TVET College were present, including Lungisa Mbulawa, Chief Executive Officer/Principal, alongside Sulaiman Maeresera (Acting Deputy Principal: Corporate Services), Samantha Burger (Acting Deputy Principal: Finance) and André Muller (Acting Deputy Principal: Innovation and Development).
This strategic alliance will facilitate the development of comprehensive skills-enhancement programmes, provide valuable industry exposure for students and implement focused initiatives designed to equip graduates for the evolving demands of the employment market.
The collaboration represents an alignment between Yes’ mission to advance the youth workforce and West Coast TVET College’s dedication to education that meets employment requirements.
