DigiCampus is excited to announce it will provide extra support for South Africa’s matrics of 2020, as they prepare for their final examinations, via its online platform.

The digital learning platform would like the matrics of 2020 to know it has their back.

More than 1,1 million candidates will write their final exams for Grade 12 in November and December. The exams officially commence on Thursday 5 November, with the final paper written on 15 December.

“We know it has been a difficult year for the matrics,” said Tsepang Setipa, chief executive officer of DigiCampus, “and we believe providing this service for free is our way of playing our part in helping the matrics of 2020 reach their full potential. We will be live streaming revision classes for the matrics a day before each examination, as the last opportunity to do some revision on each subject. So, matrics of 2020 we have your back.”

The live revision classes will cover the following subjects: English Home Language, English First Additional Language, Afrikaans Huistaal, Afrikaanse Eerste Addisionele Taal, Isizulu First Additional Language, Mathematics, Mathematics Literacy, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Geography, Computer Applications Technology, and Accounting.

All these, besides the language subjects, will have revision classes in Afrikaans and English.

DigiCampus boasts a comprehensive online video library of the Caps curriculum from Grade R to 12. This full video library is available for free on www.digicampus.co.za, and is available in four of the 11 official South African languages.

Video learning has been proven to increase student engagement, which in turn boosts achievement rates. Studies have shown the human brain processes video 60 000 times faster than text.

DigiCampus thanks all the teachers who availed themselves to help matrics by presenting the live revision classes.
