Vital Connection hosted a male youth camp at Ganzekraal between Thursday 23 and Friday 24 June.
According to organisers its purpose was to engage with males and address the challenges they face daily. About 47 young men joined the camp to be part of the experience.
With various stakeholders on board topics such as healthy lifestyles, nation building, social cohesion and more were explored.
Organisers from Vital Connection say the camp was a huge success and could have not been possible without the stakeholders on board. “We set out our purpose and focus points and we can say we met all our goals,” they said.
Organisers added that the men learnt valuable lessons and they will remain in contact with them.
They said this was the first of many camps to come.
